Makoto Kawashita is a doctor who serves as one of the main leaders of Tanpopo, a shadowy organization with serious reach. He's best known for his medical expertise and his role orchestrating the group's activities.
Back in his prime, Kawashita was a brilliant medical student who established and ran the Kawashita Clinic. Everything changed during World War 2, when the Japanese government brought him in to investigate the Yozakura Family—specifically to study the unusual properties of their blood and what made them so capable. That assignment essentially set the trajectory for the rest of his life, tying him to the kind of work that would eventually lead to his involvement with Tanpopo.
