Katsuya Kimura starts out as the class troublemaker—a smoker, a thief (though he steals for decent reasons), and someone who pushes people away. Whether it's genuine misunderstanding or his own fear talking, he keeps himself isolated from everyone. But over time, he actually grows into himself and becomes part of Nube's core friend group, shedding a lot of that tough-guy act.
He's hopelessly boy-crazy when it comes to attractive women, which means he's basically obsessed with Miki. The problem is, she treats him like a pet. On the academic side, he's consistently near the bottom of the class grades alongside Hiroshi and Makoto—not exactly a scholar. And yeah, he can be a coward and genuine troublemaker.
That said, there's a soft side nobody expects: he's actually a devoted and protective older brother to his younger sister Manami. It's probably the most genuine thing about him.
