That said, when he's talking to himself, he sometimes slips into a Kanazawa dialect, which is kind of his thing. According to Wordy Nordic Comic canon, he's actually the world's top drinker, though he doesn't exactly advertise it.
Despite being absurdly busy most of the time, he managed to make a name for himself at the costume contests. He couldn't make the 2011 Halloween party because work got in the way—his boss wasn't having it—but he pulled some strings through his Hollywood connections and showed up the following year as a genuinely frightening wolfman. He won the costume contest that year and took genuine pride in the fact that he actually managed to scare Belgium with it.
He has a dog named Pelutze. There's something fitting about that, given that Luxembourg was always meant to have a dog; his character tends to rack up the most dog-related scenes. When Himaruya was developing him, he described Luxembourg as someone with "clear common sense or something similar"—basically the grounded, sensible type among the brothers.
