Drakloak is a lizard-like Pokémon with a distinctive wide, black head topped by two vertical horns and flanked by pinkish-red triangle stripes on each side. Its yellow eyes have pink lids, and the underside of its mouth is light blue. The body itself is mostly light blue with a yellow belly marked by a red upside-down V. It's got short, stubby limbs and a long tail to balance things out.
What makes Drakloak notable is its relationship with Dreepy. It carries one on its head at all times, acting as both caretaker and battle partner until the Dreepy evolves into something else. Fans often note that Drakloak gets anxious without a Dreepy to look after—it'll frantically search for any Pokémon to fill that role if it doesn't have one. In combat, Drakloak fires energy blasts from its lungs and is incredibly fast, capable of flying over 120 mph. If it loses a battle, its Dreepy companion will take off on its own.
