Sonken Chuubou is Hakufu Sonsaku's younger sister—they share the same father. She debuted in Shin Ikkitousen, the direct sequel to the original series.
She first shows up in the opening chapter as a new transfer student at Nanyo Gakuen, though she arrives without a magatama of her own. Ukitsu (who's still around in the manga continuity) eventually grants her the magatama of Sun Quan. Like Hakufu, Sonken's magatama houses a water dragon spirit—fitting for someone of the Sun lineage, where water serves as their natural element.
