Yuuya Nomoto
Yuuya's just your average college kid—or he was, anyway. A second-year economics student at Jyousai University, his life took a sharp turn the moment he stumbled across Hitomi and found out what Killing Bites actually was. From there, things spiraled fast.
Reiichi Shidou, Hitomi's guardian, basically forced Yuuya into becoming her investor. He doesn't really have much of a choice in the matter; he's locked in until the Killing Bites Destroyal wraps up. It's a pretty wild situation for a guy who was probably just trying to focus on his studies a few weeks earlier.
Despite the chaos, Yuuya ends up being one of the core characters driving the story forward. Fans often note how he gets swept up in circumstances way beyond what a normal college student should have to deal with, which makes his journey through the series pretty compelling.
