Ludger is the protagonist of Tales of Xillia 2. He's a twenty-year-old living with his older brother Julius in the city of Trigraph, located in Elenpios. He's got real talent in the kitchen—cooking is genuinely one of his strong suits. Things go south pretty quickly when Julius vanishes on Ludger's first day at work, leaving him drowning in debt and forced to pick up the pieces.
What makes Ludger stand out mechanically is the Corpse Shell, a family ability passed down through the Kresnik line. It lets him transform and significantly boost his combat effectiveness. His arsenal is pretty varied: he fights with dual swords, dual pistols, and a hammer depending on the situation.
Style-wise, he's got a pretty distinctive look. Blue dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up, brown suspenders, yellow tie, and black pants make up his standard outfit—there's also a blue feather decoration hanging from his waistband. He's got striking green eyes with yellow rings around the pupils, a trait he shares with Elle. Interestingly, his older brother Julius doesn't have those same eye markings, despite being family. His silver hair with black ends on the right side actually mirrors Nova's coloring, just inverted.
In the manga adaptation, he comes across as dependable and clearly cares about his brother, though he tends to act pretty impulsively without always thinking things through.
