Daimaru (ダイマル, Daimaru) was a shinobi from Sunagakure.
Growing up in the Sand Village alongside Temari, Daimaru developed feelings for her early on—apparently unfazed by her family connections to the Fourth Kazekage and Gaara. Unable to openly express his interest, he instead bullied her, a habit that stuck around until his death during a C-rank mission.
Years later, during the Fourth Shinobi World War, Kabuto revived Daimaru as one of his reanimated soldiers, seeing him as expendable compared to stronger assets. When the undead shinobi reached the Third Raikage's sealing site, he used his sand manipulation to clear traps set by the Allied Forces. The moment he spotted Temari, Daimaru finally confessed his love—figured he had nothing to lose since he was already dead anyway. After that, he willingly allowed himself to be sealed away. Once the Impure World Reincarnation was canceled, his soul returned to the afterlife for good.
