Daisuki Hiraoka is Yano's friend and a five-year veteran of the anime industry—though his experience has mostly taught him to be confidently wrong about things. Early on, he seemed genuinely pumped about the work, but that wore off pretty quickly. These days he's mainly known for stressing out his coworkers rather than actually contributing anything useful.
