Viviano worked as a guard at Green Dolphin Street Prison for three years, before that spending time at a Miami customs house. He's pretty open about getting a kick out of messing with the inmates—he and other guards would even place bets on it. The guy genuinely seems to view prisoners as the scum of society, and he's never been shy about it. Over his years on the job, he's gotten damn good at restraint techniques, particularly headlocks, which he uses to keep convicts under control when they start acting up.
