Goldov

Goldov is one of the seven heroes trapped behind the mist barrier, and heads the Black Horns Knights of Piena—a kingdom where he's widely considered the strongest fighter alive. He's absolutely devoted to Princess Nashetania, treating her with formal politeness that borders on reverent. Fans often note that according to Nashetania herself, she only won their tournament finals last year because Goldov deliberately held back.
Physically, he's hard to miss: a tall, dark-haired man with a perpetually stern expression who wears heavy black armor and carries a massive spear chained to his gauntlet. His distinctive helm is topped with two curved horns modeled after a sheep's horns.
What most people don't know is that Goldov wasn't always a knight. Born to a thief and a sex worker in a poor western city, he spent his childhood as a street kid—and an unnaturally large, unnaturally strong one at that. The problem was his temper. Goldov has always struggled with violent outbursts he can't control, rages that only end when everyone around him is dead. As a result, the whole town avoided him like plague. Everything changed at ten years old when he encountered Nashetania fleeing from her father—the king, who'd gone insane—and his soldiers. Goldov fell instantly in love without knowing who she was. In a blur of violence, he tore through a house full of guards to save her, and the Black Horns Knights recruited him on the spot, giving him a forged identity and a real education.
He won Piena's martial arts tournament at fourteen, making him the youngest champion in its history, which earned him the formal title of Black Horns leader (though the old commander still actually runs things). Before long he was essentially Nashetania's personal bodyguard—until he got orders to hunt down the Six Flowers killer. After months of tracking, he finally found leads through Chamo and learned about Fremy. But then he received the Six Flowers mark and had to abandon the search to reach the gathering point.
In combat, Goldov is nearly superhuman: blisteringly fast, impossibly strong, with a body built like it was forged from steel. He's easily one of the strongest heroes of the Six Flowers, and he gets even more dangerous when Nashetania's threatened. Outside of battle he's calm enough, but cross him by endangering his princess and he'll attack without hesitation. Nashetania's basically the only person who can talk him down from his anger.
