Astarte started out as a servant created by Rudolf Eustach, but that arrangement didn't last long. When Kojou and Yukina took down Eustach, Astarte got caught in the fallout—literally on the losing side. Rather than face harsher consequences, she was handed a three-year probation sentence. These days she's under Natsuki's watch, which seems to be working out better for everyone involved.
