Spearman
A silver-ranked adventurer working out of the frontier settlement, Spearman is best known for his partnership with Witch and his reputation as one of the more reliable fighters in the local guild.
He's got a lot of confidence in his combat skills and loves playing the hero, especially when Guild Girl's around—though his bravado doesn't really mask the fact that he genuinely cares about doing the right thing. Unlike a lot of adventurers who chase every paycheck, he'll take on work that matters even if the reward's not there. Newer adventurers gravitate toward him partly because of his rank, but mostly because he actually takes time to help people sharpen their weapon skills.
Despite coming across as all swagger and showmanship, he's thoughtful about watching out for his companions. It's one of those things fans often note about him—there's more substance under the confident exterior.
