Misaki is a third-year junior high student and class representative who grew up with Shino, serving as her vice-president back in elementary school. She and Shino had a typical dynamic where Misaki often played the straight man to Shino's absurd comments—a role she shares with Takatoshi Tsuda, though Misaki actually relied on Shino for support in her own way. When Misaki's clothes got dirty during class cleaning, Shino was there to comfort her. The two stayed close enough that Misaki helped welcome Koyama-sensei and even assisted with giving her flowers after her practice teaching wrapped up.
Personality-wise, Misaki comes across as responsible and serious about her responsibilities, consistently scoring above 90 on tests.
