Hinako Inui
Hinako Inui is an 80th Generation Tootsuki Academy alumnus and a previous second seat of the Elite Ten Council. She's the owner and head chef of Kirinoya, a Japanese restaurant, and stands among the school's most respected legends—one of the few students who actually made it through and graduated.
Like most of the Elite Ten alumni, Inui takes food quality seriously, especially freshness. She earned the nickname "Mist Empress" during her time at the academy, and it stuck for good reason. She has an almost supernatural ability to judge a dish just by tasting it—literally just touching food to her lips is enough for her to know whether it's good or bad. It's an absurdly useful skill that makes her evaluations basically instant.
Beneath her mature, stern, and professional exterior, though, Inui has a surprisingly childish side. When she's uncertain about something or caught off-guard by a decision, it shows. She's actually known among the alumni for being the joker of the group, regularly cracking jokes to lighten the mood with her peers.
Her cooking philosophy centers on washoku, traditional Japanese cuisine, which naturally shapes everything that comes out of Kirinoya's kitchen.
