The running joke with this character is that it's genuinely the last dinosaur in existence, but nobody knows because it just. pretends to be a regular lizard. It's kind of the whole bit—flying under the radar by basically catfishing everyone into thinking it's just some normal reptile.
Character-wise, it's been slowly warming up to Nisetsumuri, which marks a pretty noticeable shift in its personality over time. Fans have definitely noticed the character development there.
