An African-American soldier stationed at Misawa Air Base near Hachinohe in Japan, Ozuma shows up as a surprisingly tough first-round opponent for Ippo in the Rookie King Tournament. He's known for an explosive hook that rivals—maybe even tops—Takamura's, making him genuinely dangerous in the ring.
