Hakutaku is a Celestial Beast and pharmacist who runs the Sentou Farm in Heaven, up in Togenkyo. He took Momotaro on as his assistant to pass along his medical knowledge—the guy went from ogre slayer to apprentice herbalist, basically. He's got a whole crew of rabbits working with him too, helping mix potions and learn the trade.
What people notice first about Hakutaku is his charm. He's genuinely gracious and popular with women, which puts him in the same league as his arch-nemesis Hoozuki in that department. The thing is, he's a shameless flirt. He hits on pretty much every woman he meets—Peach Maki, Oko, doesn't matter. Both Hoozuki and Momotaro find this annoying as hell, though they've mostly made peace with it at this point.
Hakutaku reckons his success with women comes down to his reputation as a skilled doctor. And honestly, that tracks. Most of his patients are female, coming to him for herbal remedies and whatnot. The downside? His habit of juggling multiple relationships tends to blow up spectacularly. He gets dumped about as often as he finds someone new, usually by women who discovered they weren't the only one.
