Aoi Hinata—better known by her nickname Himawari (向日葵)—is one of the main characters in OreSuki. She's a second-year high schooler and the ace of her school's Tennis Club.
Himawari's basically the definition of bubbly. She's outgoing, energetic, and genuinely friendly with everyone, though she does get nervous pretty easily—especially around her crush Sun, at least early on. Once everything between their group blows up and they eventually make peace, her feelings for him fade and the nervousness goes away with it.
She's the physically affectionate type, constantly grabbing Joro (their mutual friend) with backslaps or full-on tackles that he finds annoying more than anything else. When she needs favors, she turns clingy, which—according to Joro—has gotten him flustered more than once. After Sun's scheme comes to light, Himawari becomes genuinely sorry for what happened and tries to give Joro space, worried she's caused him enough trouble already. She's genuinely relieved when things improve between them.
The thing is, Himawari's not great at reading the room. She wants to help Joro and often does try, but she just as often ends up getting on his nerves or accidentally hurting him in the process. It's a running source of confusion between them. Joro's apparently figured out that when Himawari lies, her eyes dart right once and then left twice—a dead giveaway he uses to call her out.
