He's Hajime's older brother—the laid-back, good-natured type who means well but somehow always makes things worse. His parents had big plans for him back in the day, but when he didn't live up to expectations, they basically wrote him off. That's when all their focus shifted to Hajime instead. The thing is, he's not bitter about it or anything. He genuinely tries to help people out, which is kind of his defining trait, except his help tends to backfire and create more problems than it solves. It's less malice, more just bad luck or poor judgment.
