Raymond comes from a village that got left behind after industrialization swept through. With no work at home, he had no choice but to move abroad illegally to find employment in Japan.
His situation is desperate. His daughter is seriously ill, and he's running out of options—and time. Facing mounting medical bills he can't possibly pay, Raymond makes an extraordinary decision: he offers to sell his heart for transplant. It's a last resort born from a father's desperation to save his child's life, even if it means sacrificing his own.
