His cynicism can cut pretty deep, and he's not one for warm reassurance.
His abilities are unusual. He can shapeshift into a beast form with distinctly leopard-like limbs, something that clearly sets him apart, though nobody really knows how he ended up with that power. Beyond that, he's got some serious control over time itself—he can stop it, reverse it, manipulate it in ways that most people can only theorize about. It makes him valuable in the field, even if he doesn't seem to care much about the recognition.
