Goum was one of Amiba's minions in the TV series, serving the false Toki as a scout and recruiter. Amiba gifted him with superhuman speed through his mastery of Hokuto Shinken, making him useful for tracking down victims for his twisted vital point experiments. Goum's job was finding human test subjects—he once brought a heavyweight boxer to Amiba, though the man didn't survive the procedure.
When Kenshiro arrived in the town of Gobia, Goum tracked him down just after he'd captured Habu. The fight didn't go well for Goum. Kenshiro wiped out his men and hit them with the kōfu vital point, flipping their loyalty against their own leader. Worse, Kenshiro crippled Goum's prized speed, reducing it to a fraction of normal human capability. Trapped and helpless, Goum was stabbed in the back by his own turned men before they all exploded.
