Akaba Reiji's younger sister, Akaba Ren dueled in the Junior division of the Maiami Tournament. She's known for being extremely shy and timid—so much so that she'd literally hide behind her patchwork teddy bear whenever crowds got loud or attention turned her way.
What's probably her most notable trait is how long she went unrecognized as a girl. Thanks to her boyish style of dress, most people (and viewers) assumed she was male throughout pretty much the entire series. It wasn't until her final duel against Zarc that her gender became clear to everyone around her.
