Azriel is the Representative of the Winged and Jibril's "older sister"—the first Flügel ever created, making her the oldest of her kind. She holds significant authority: during emergencies, her word carries immediate weight, though routine decisions still require approval from the Council of Eighteen Wings, where she sits as a member. During the Great War, she served as Artosh's voice to the rest of the Flügel, relaying his commands and will. She's also responsible for establishing the laws governing how books are shared among her people.
Appearance-wise, she fits the general Flügel mold—an angelic being with winged features—but with distinctive personal markers. Her shoulder-length hair is mostly green, and her eyes are heterochromic: blue on the right, gold on the left. A curved horn grows from the left side of her head, a physical expression of her dual nature. Like her sister Jibril, she wears her midriff exposed with a long skirt.
