Kenny is the Bladebreakers' tech genius—basically the team's backbone. He's a self-described nerd who'd honestly take a janitor job just to be around fancy computers and equipment. The team calls him "Professor," but his real name is Manabu Saien, which his mother reveals later in the series. Only a handful of people actually use his real name, mostly his parents and occasionally DJ Blader.
He handles all the beyblade repairs and upgrades for the team. While he rarely competes himself, he does have beyblades: he used "Einstein" in V-Force and "Hopper" in G-Revolution, which has the gimmick of actually hopping. He battles Kai with a different blade in season one, so he's capable when he needs to be. Oh, and he had a thing for Ming-Ming during G-Revolution.
In the English dub of the first two seasons, Kenny's laptop got a female bit-beast called Dizzi instead of just showing his normal screen. It was a creative choice for the English audience, but since Kenny barely used his laptop in season three, they dropped Dizzi. To avoid awkward continuity issues, they blanked out or cut scenes showing Hopper's bit—which depicted a frog wearing Kenny's glasses—whenever it came up.
