Relius Clover is Carl and Ada's father and Ignis's husband. He's a colonel in the NOL's Engineering Department and serves as one of the series' main antagonists, working closely with Hazama.
Best known as the "Puppeteer," Relius is a brilliant alchemist whose specialty involves puppet creation and manipulation. He vanished without explanation sometime before the events of Calamity Trigger, setting much of the plot in motion.
