Makoto's father and the priest at Saeki Shrine. Unlike his daughter and late wife, he can't actually see Gintaro—he married into the family and didn't inherit the sight that comes with the bloodline. Still, he's aware of Gintaro's existence and genuinely hopes to see him someday. Originally named Tatsuo Toyokura, he took his wife's surname when he decided to become a priest rather than follow the family brewing trade.
