Gabriel
An archangel and one of the series' main antagonists. Gabriel's the one responsible for cursing Maria—he's the one who decided that if she ever loses her virginity, she'll lose her powers. It's a pretty defining part of his role in the story, and it sets up a lot of the central conflict.
