Pururu is the Garuru Platoon's chief medic and only female member—a childhood friend to Keroro, Giroro, and Dororo who's stuck with them whether she likes it or not. She's energetic and straightforward, with a no-nonsense streak that keeps her grounded compared to the chaos around her. Unlike most of the cast, she's genuinely nonviolent and mature, which makes her the closest thing the platoon has to an actual adult.
Visually, she's got violet skin, large purple eyes, and her signature pink cap with a yellow-and-pink heart on it. The cap's pointed tips give her kind of a cat-ear look. She sometimes sports a violet afro too. Her tadpole body might suggest she's young like Tamama, but that's just how Yoshizaki draws adult female Keronians.
Her weapon of choice is a giant light-pink syringe—something she fell in love with during a childhood mission where she dressed as a bee and attacked a bully with a needle as part of a scheme to reclaim a secret base. She stuck with it and became a nurse.
Pururu shows up sporadically throughout the series, usually to give the platoon medical checkups when she visits Earth. Her love life is pretty straightforward: Keroro's got it bad for her, but she sees him, Giroro, and Dororo more like annoying little brothers. Giroro used to have a thing for her when they were younger, but he's moved on to Natsumi. She's also befriended Chiruyo Tsukigami from the school newspaper club and has helped her pursue her feelings for Fuyuki.
