Isobeyan is basically a mushroom-shaped character who became pretty iconic in Kadode Koyama's manga. The series kicks off each volume with an Isobeyan chapter as a running tradition, and he gradually gets more important as the story goes on. He's essentially a Doraemon parody, which fans tend to appreciate for its absurdist humor.
