Dan Heng serves as the Astral Express's reserved train guard and archivist, wielding a spear called Cloud-Piercer. He boarded the Express to leave behind a secluded, complicated past—though that past has a way of catching up.
In his everyday human form, he's a tall, slender young man with sharp blue eyes, pale skin, and black hair. His style blends formal and traditional: a black turtleneck with qipao-inspired fasteners, a white and green coat trimmed in gold, dark pants, and high-top black sneakers. A jade tassel earring with connected lacing completes the look.
His true nature is Vidyadhara, which he eventually accepted after inheriting the residual powers of his predecessor, the legendary Imbibitor Lunae. That acceptance came with a cost—along with those majestic green dragon horns came all the weight and burden of someone he could never actually be.
When tapping into his Imbibitor Lunae form, he transforms dramatically. His hair lengthens and shifts to black and teal, his eyes glow bright green with red eyeliner, and translucent dragon horns crown his head. His attire becomes far more ornate: a sleeveless white top with a diamond chest cutout and detached sleeves decorated with scale-like accents, long fingerless gloves, and dark green pants. Lotus-shaped jewelry, jade seals, and layered accessories reinforce his connection to the Xianzhou tradition.
His Permansor Terrae aspect represents yet another facet—a more grounded, earthbound version where he stands taller with shorter black hair fading to teal and tied back. Gold dragon horns and a teal tail mark him as fully Vidyadhara in this state. His outfit here bridges all his forms: the black high-collar shirt pairs with half of his white jacket on the right side, silver details throughout, and a large black belt holding his Astral Express ticket as a reminder of his journey.
