Sara Kusanagi (草薙 沙羅) is a 13-year-old princess from another world who ends up crashing into Sōsuke's life and moving in with him. She's got magic powers and isn't shy about using them.
What's probably her most endearing trait is how genuinely she cares—she becomes obsessed with the anime Case Closed, and over time starts viewing Sōsuke as a father figure. Eventually it becomes clear she's fallen for him, though her feelings stem from his kindness rather than anything creepy. Her friend Yuna definitely noticed the shift in their dynamic, especially when Sara transferred to elementary school while Yuna stayed behind. The separation clearly bothered Yuna more than Sara seemed to anticipate.
