Hina lives in a house owned by her mother, Minato Tsuruno, along with Rin Namiki, Misa Aoi, and several other girls. She's basically the household's cook, handling meals for everyone.
When Rin needed to recruit members to get her Jet Racing Club officially recognized, she knew exactly how to get Hina on board—by dangling the promise of food. It worked. Though Hina doesn't actually race, she's become essential to the club's operations: she cooks for all the members and even picked up a part-time job alongside them when the club needed cash for new parts for the Orcano.
