Zerceus leads the Angart family and serves as Midhaze's second-in-command, answering only to Demon Lord Elio. He's deeply involved in the realm's administration—you'll find him in basically every policy meeting, and his voice carries real weight. On the surface, he's known for pushing harsh stances against royalty, but that turned out to be a smokescreen for his actual beliefs.
When Midhaze abolished the segregation between royal and mixed-blood demons, Zerceus couldn't accept it. He went underground and founded the Resistance, a secret organization dedicated to undoing the reform and restoring the old order of royal supremacy. Because of this, he refuses to acknowledge Demon King Anos as legitimate, convinced instead that he's a fake planted by the Unitarians to undermine everything Midhaze stands for.
