Éclairisse is a researcher at a Kalos academy who specializes in Electric-type Pokémon. She's best known for being Clemont's former teacher during his time studying at the academy.
When Clemont returned to visit in the episode "A Campus Reunion!," Éclairisse was genuinely surprised to see him again. She immediately offered to give him and his traveling companions a tour of the academy. While showing them around, she shared stories about Clemont's school days, noting that he'd always been a brilliant student.
During their visit, the town's power grid fell under attack by Team Rocket, triggering widespread blackouts. Éclairisse and the group investigated the outages together. She watched from the sidelines as Ash and Clemont took on the Rocket trio themselves. By the next day, things had settled down enough for her to witness Clemont catching a Luxio.
