A character of the day from the episode "One Trick Phony!", this female Trainer challenged Ash to a battle using her Smoochum, which she'd nicknamed Josephine. The fight was pretty brief—Pikachu's Quick Attack sent Josephine flying, and that was enough for the Trainer to call it quits. She seemed more interested in letting her Pokémon recover than pushing forward, and afterward she suggested that Ash and the crew head over to the Battle Park if they wanted some real training against tougher opponents and Trainers.
