Wataru is a first-year literature student who plays bass and writes lyrics for Argonavis. He's also the younger brother of Kenta Satozuka, which is kind of a thing for him—he's got this inferiority complex about it and genuinely wants to outdo his older brother someday.
Personality-wise, he's basically the opposite of Yuto. While Yuto's running around all fired up and optimistic about everything, Wataru tends to be the cautious realist in the room, quick to point out what could go wrong. He's not trying to be a downer, though; he actually cares a lot about the band making it. That's where the pushback comes from. It's a pessimism born out of wanting them to actually succeed, not from apathy.
