Asakusa is a first-year student at Shibahama High who's obsessed with anime—specifically the worlds those shows create. She's imaginative and endlessly curious, but kind of keeps to herself socially. Her whole thing is that setting is everything in anime, so she's constantly sketching the backgrounds and locations she spots in everyday life, filling up sketchbooks with her observations.
For a while, her classmate Sayaka Kanamori was the only person who knew how deep Asakusa's passion ran. But when the two of them checked out the Anime Club together, they met Tsubame Mizusaki and hit it off. That chance meeting basically sparked the creation of Eizouken—a club dedicated to making anime. Asakusa's real drive is to explore what she calls her own "Incredible World," and Eizouken is how she plans to do it.
