Ichika Hoshino is the main protagonist. She's a rookie cop in the Special Regions Crime Prevention Office, though her career gets complicated fast—she becomes a target of the terrorist group Adonis when they force a poisoned necklace onto her. The bulk of the story follows her and a team of detectives (including Aiji, Takeru, and Mineo) as they work to dismantle Adonis and, more pressingly, find a way to get the collar off before it kills her.
