Jirou Haida is "Haida's" younger brother and Retsuko's main rival during the House of Representatives election in Season 5, where he becomes the season's primary antagonist.
Appearance
Based on a spotted hyena, Jirou bears a strong resemblance to his older brother—both sport grayish-brown fur with black noses and ears. The main differences are his lighter grey muzzle and cheek tufts, plus a gray tuft on top of his head that stands out from his body's coloring. His cheeks are marked with grayish-brown freckle-like spots, and he has fur tufts in his ears as well. He typically dresses in a navy suit with white dress shirt, navy tie, and silver half-rim glasses.
Personality
Jirou's got a lot more confidence and pride than his older brother, which makes sense—he's always been the more naturally talented one in the family. He's cunning enough to manipulate Haida without breaking a sweat and charismatic enough to charm voters. That said, he does have some principles. He draws the line at crossing Juzo after he realizes Haida nearly got hit by a car, showing he's not entirely without a conscience.
