Chongyun is an exorcist based out of Liyue who's best known for being so effective at his job that he basically never encounters actual spirits—they bolt the moment he shows up. He comes from a long line of exorcists, but unlike most of his family, his power isn't something he trained into. It's innate: he was born with an unusually strong yang energy that just naturally repels evil.
That excess yang does come with a catch, though. It makes him overly sensitive to heat and intense emotions, which has led to some pretty awkward situations over the years.
Style-wise, he's got a distinctive look: a white hooded jacket with navy trim, worn over a blue shirt and white pants with gold cuffs. There's a dark navy undershirt underneath, and he's got bandages wrapped around his right wrist and ankle. His Cryo Vision hangs on the left side of his belt—fitting for someone whose cold nature is such a core part of who he is.
