Boss
Role: Tatsu's former yakuza employer
Boss was Tatsu's superior back when he was an active member of the yakuza underworld. Years later, their paths cross again after Tatsu has completely reinvented himself as a stay-at-home husband. The reunion is awkward and unexpected—two people from opposite chapters of Tatsu's life suddenly occupying the same space. Boss represents Tatsu's old world, the life he's left behind, which makes their encounter both comedic and somewhat poignant given how far Tatsu has come.
