Kazuhiro Kitase is the story's main character—though his coworker Marie keeps accidentally calling him Kazuhiho. He's got a rare ability to enter and explore dream worlds, and honestly, he'd rather be asleep than dealing with real life. He's meticulous about getting good sleep and has somehow become an excellent cook by bringing food and drinks into his dreams to practice. In the dream world, he looks younger than he actually is, which is a nice bonus.
The downside? His motivation at work is basically nonexistent. He speaks in this perpetually drowsy tone that doesn't help his reputation—people around him just assume he's lazy and checked out. Whether that's fair or not depends on who you ask.
