Shino
Shino was a psychiatric patient who struggled with self-harm. She fell under the influence of Mukade, her doctor, who manipulated her into joining a cult involved in disturbing rituals. Her entire family became victims of his exploitation as well. Eventually, she took her own life—likely at Mukade's urging, as part of his psychological control over her.
By the time she encounters Rika Kawai, Shino has become something darker. Like the other Wonder Egg Girls, she attempts to convince Rika to give up fighting and accept death. The similarities between them—both struggling with suicidal ideation and self-harm—made Shino an effective threat. She shares enough of Rika's pain to understand how to exploit it. Though she remains fundamentally a victim of Mukade's manipulation, Shino has effectively become his agent, working against anyone who would resist him.
