Manatsu is a first-year middle schooler who recently moved from Minamino Island to Aozora City, and she's the type who jumps into action without thinking twice. Her whole approach to life is basically "I'll do what's important, right now!"—she's incredibly energetic and driven, even if her impulsiveness sometimes gets ahead of her. She's known for saying "It's tropical~!" constantly, which has become her signature thing.
When she transforms, she becomes Cure Summer. Her charm point is her lips, which makes sense given that her most prized possession is a lipstick her mother gave her—it's the kind of sentimental item that clearly means the world to her.
