While staying in Albion, she got involved with Joachim, a young refugee. The two had a genuine connection, and he'd stick around even after things got complicated.
Her worst mistake came when she joined a heretic cult that worshipped the Goddess of Fire. The group held orgies in a cave, and Nina ended up contracting a disease resembling tuberculosis during her time there—something she never fully recovered from.
After the Tower of Conviction fell, Nina sought out Luca to apologize for all the chaos she'd caused him. It was a rare moment of reflection for her. Not long after, she and Joachim left together. Joachim had survived the fall from the cliffs, and the two of them disappeared to start over elsewhere.
