Anzu was an esper dispatched with a specific mission: eliminate Hina, a girl who'd been exiled from their shadowy homeland for inability to control her own abilities. When the mission went south, Anzu tried to head back home—only to find her transport completely wrecked. Stuck on her own, she ended up homeless for a while before a kind couple eventually took her in.
