Childman Powderfield
Childman serves as the master to Orphen, Hartia, and Azalie, making him a central authority figure in their lives. He's probably best known as Orphen's main antagonist throughout much of the anime, largely because Orphen is convinced that Childman genuinely wants Azalie dead.
It's worth noting that the anime (which J.C Staff produced) takes a different direction with his character than the original novels and the remake do, so depending on which version you're watching or reading, his role shifts pretty significantly.
