Zagan is Hakuryuu's djinn and an earth djinn. He's known as the Djinn of Loyalty and Purity.
Pretty much, Zagan hates humans—like, all of them. The exception is Magi, who he doesn't have a problem with. Despite that general disdain for humanity, he's come around to accepting Hakuryuu as his master, which says something about what he sees in him.
